Firmwares for Sigmatek PVR-820 and PVR-800
WARNING
Upgrading a player with an official or unofficial firmware is always a risk for your player !
If your CD is bad burned, too old, or your burner don't burn correctly or the current line is suddenly interrupted during the upgrade, etc. your take the risk to fail the upgrade and loose your player.
So in all cases, this softwares are plusblihed "as is" and you're the only one responsible for the risk you're going to take.
Concerning unofficial firmwares, you take the risk to do not be able to send your player to After Sales Service Department, depending on the kind of failure (if they can see the firmware is not official: garanty is canceled). So please think of it before upgrading.
Moreover, please take the time TO READ THE UGPRADE GUIDES! Large majority of people who do not achieve to upgrade their player did not read carrefully the guide, so... make a small effort please!

This firmware includes the previous improvements. So you don't need to upgrade to previous firmwares before upgrading to 2.19.
Improvements/Fixes of this version:
- Automatic record stops as soon as free space achieves 300 Mb
- Unability to start a programmed or direct recording if there is no more than 400 Mb free on HDD
- Ability to open the DVD tray during recording without stopping the record
- Fix during file renaming: some characters were removed. It will be ok now.
- OSD does not display anymore, by default, the timer when launching DVD, DivX or Live Video from remote control
- The "once" scheduled programs are now correctly removed from the list when ended (need more test)
- Now it's possible to stop a programmed record during recording without loosing it

This firmware includes the previous improvements. So you don't need to upgrade to previous firmwares before upgrading to 2.16.
Improvements/Fixes of this version:
- it is possible to launch a dynamic recording and to program the automatic record stopping at the same time (successive pressing of the "REC" which increases the duration of recording between infinite and 180 minutes with a 30 minutes step).
- it will be able to auto-control the source format for the TV Tuner (PAL/SECAM).
This means you can let "PAL" in Setup for AV1/AV2/S-Video entries and watch TV on "SECAM" without modifying the Setup.
- using Dolby Prologic II, the right rear speaker; now, has sound
- the "REPAIR" function has been enhanced, BUT you should take precautions before using it (save your favorite files)!

Improvements/Fixes of this version:
- v.2: fix the problem of PVR freeze when browsing AVI thumbnails from HDD
- v.2: fix the "no sound" problem when fast browsing AVI from HDD
- now the MP3 reading does not stop anymore after the second song
- french setup menus have been revisited to correct some faults
- file names displayed all latins characters
- the defragmentation function has been removed, probably to workaround the possibility to lose data during this process
- the menu entry used to set time-shift record mode has been removed
Now the time-shift record mode is set to the global one.

- OSD translated in french and german
- subtitles management for AVI with support of SRT, SUB and SMI format (latin characters included, 50 chars. per line and displayed on 3 lines)
Type on "ZOOM" key to select subtitle file before launching movie.
- best USB management: the player switches to waiting mode as soon as USB cable is plugged
- long file names displayed under the SmartNAVI list on screen
- ability to switch DVD region (region free, from 0 to 6) from setup
- ability to sort files (by date, name and type) from setup
- ability to display current channel frequency on screen (press "RESUME" key)
